 Sequim, Port Angeles and points west. You all know Sequim because of its dry weather, but you probably don't know how gorgeous the views of the Straits are from many parts of Port Angeles. Several of my favorite no-bank beaches can be found at Dungeness, just north of Sequim. West of Port Angeles, the waterfront lots overlook the Straits -- always something to see. Ship traffic, sailboats, Victoria, B.C. Several lakes in the area, too, if you like boating and swimming. If you really want to be out in the sticks, you might look at some of the areas near Clallam Bay and Neah Bay. Remote, wet, but oh so pretty.
