AREA L
Port Townsend/Port Ludlow

ferry  marina  river

area g mapArea L includes the golf course and waterfront community of Port Ludlow, Washington's Victorian Seaport of Port Townsend (my birthplace, and my home), Discovery Bay, Marrowstone Island, and part of Hood Canal. The northeastern part of the county has low rainfall like Sequim while the Hood Canal area has more rainfall, but lots of lowbank waterfront. If you golf, Port Ludlow has a great course, plus a marina, two restaurants, fabulous views, and quick access to Seattle via the Hood Canal Bridge. Port Townsend has water on three sides so you can find lots of different water views here as well as high bank waterfront. Marrowstone Island is a small island that is pretty quiet and rural. Waterfront there starts at $89,000. The private community of Cape George offers some of the best westerly views around.
